In loving Memory of
Remedy's
Bella Luna II, CD - FEMA Type 1 Disaster
Dog
Luna
was trained and owned by Firefighter - Technical
Rescue and Hazardous Material specialist Hilda Wood. FEMA
Canine Specialist and Evaluator, Florida Task Force
1.
Hilda took Luna to Armenia
Colombia, South America in January of 1999 to help find living
victims of the 6.0 earthquake. Luna was 18 months old at the
time.
Hilda would play with Luna to keep her
spirits high and have other members of the team hide so Luna
could find a living victum and not become depressed in the
rubble of the disaster.
Luna will forever be
missed................
